Hi, i'm amie
it's great to meet you!
I’m a maternity, family and newborn photographer lucky enough to call The Sunshine Coast home. I’ve travelled the world over, seeking a life full of adventure, friendship and new experiences.
It was my passion for travel that introduced me to my love of photography. My amateur camera quickly became overused, constantly snapping new people, landmarks and anything else that grabbed my attention along the way. I eventually decided it was time to move home, complete a Diploma in Photo Imagery and turn this passion of mine into a career.
WHO AM I AS A PHOTOGRAPHER?
My approach is relaxed, playful and child led with a focus on natural light and emotive storytelling. I don’t expect children to sit still, smile on cue or behave a certain way. Instead, I encourage movement and play, while also creating space for those softer moments, because everyone loves a good cuddle photo!
I believe the best images come when we let go of expectations and perfection and allow ourselves to be who we really are. During our time together, there’s no pressure to perform and no need to get it “right”
I'm drawn to the imperfect moments, the little bits of chaos, colour and laughter that make life feel alive.
